I am satisfied with the course and the material that was presented. I liked the fact that the teachers were actually employees at Google and had firsthand knowledge of being an IT Support Specialist.

The course is good at presenting the subject matter without overwhelming the student. I found the sections on preparing a resume and handling an interview well done and gave me a view of understanding skills I have developed in other employment and how they can be carried over to an IT role.

I loved this course. The content was very interesting and presented in a way that made it easy to take up and feel less bored. I especially liked how it was broken down into small 5 or 10 minute videos which together made up such important technical content that was could be easily digested.

Great intro course to IT. I took this course coming from a health background- I have been a registered nurse for 8 years now- and I had no prior formal IT training. I appreciate everything I learned and look forward to using this knowledge as I transition from bedside nursing to an IT role.

Brilliant course to learn the basics of IT and support, provides basic knowledge on the internet, hardware and operating systems. My favorite module was that on troubleshooting which demonstrated live scenarios of troubleshooting and how best to handle them to achieve customer satisfaction.

It was challenging in the best way. The instructors were clear a precise. I can't believe I know how to build a computer! If I had to critique I would say to make it where the corrections of information is able to be saved in a note. Otherwise Coursera is awesome and they make you think:)

Very interesting program. Teach basic Fundamental about IT, perfect if you don't have any IT background. But this program is too simple and easy for me plus I don't get encouragement from work because according to our IT Dept. It won't get credited for getting an IT job in their department.

Thank you for the opportunity to gain the knowledge from Technical Support Fundamentals. I'm confident today I would be an ideal candidate for an entry-level role in an IT Support capacity. Onto the next course "The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking." Enjoy the day! Wanda D. Parsons

One of the best introductory course for IT systems and fundamental knowledge of its architecture which is missed by non-CS degree holder even in post-graduate degree programs. Certainly it provided a robust background in IT support for self, organization and a candidacy for fulfilling job.

I was inpressed about all the stuff I review in this course, but also I was inpressed about the Quicklabs. It was interesting that in this course we used real servers in the cloud. Now, I want to keep learning about it, I want to increase my knowledge in tech, specially in troubleshooting.

A great overview and introduction to the world of IT. It is broken down into easy to digest sections and the language is general enough for a beginner to understand while still being informative. Good balance between the technical aspects of computing and the human element of Tech Support.

I had previous experience with tech but thought the learning was great and I definitely was able to learn new ideas and the labs were helpful. My only complaint was the video sound was not synced. I was using Bluetooth earbuds and there was a significant delay that kept distracting me.

Great overview of IT Support Fundamentals delivered in bite size pieces and easy to follow instructions. Also the QwikLabs and virtual machine were useful, hands-on tools in realistic simulations; getting them done enhanced my confidence that I could perform IT support in a real company.
