I really enjoyed this module! I would have liked something like terms and definitions along with a way to access them as I went through out the course. Regardless It was Insightful and has left me feeling accomplished and determined to finish this certificate program with the necessary tools and learning to succeed.

This is a great introductory course for anyone who's looking to get into the IT world. Not only it is clear at the topics it's giving it also encourages users throughout the course. The tools provided work fine and are easy to use, they even have detailed step by step guide in case anyone gets lost. Very recommended.

The course gave an overview of the IT support Fundamentals in a very practical manner. To me the IT was a pretty vague term and I wasn't sure how to define IT but after completing this course I can easily say that it has taken away all the confusion and gave a very spot on description of what IT support is all about.

Really well introduced course for basics on how to understand the things work on PC , the supplemental readings also provide you full information with most searching about things you think you missing it from lectures.

Good work from google team, and now looking a head for 2nd course The bits and byte of networking.

How are you all doing? This is a real experience for me because they were things I learned before I couldn’t understand thanks to this course I now understood better .....

Am thanking every Lecture who participated and all the students too.

But my problem now is , I don’t know how to get my certificate

I had a fantastic time learning Technical Support Fundamentals. My scope has widened and my knowledge base greatly increased. I see and perceive IT differently now to my delight. I sincerely look forward to a new IT Support job while enrolling for more courses to deepen my knowledge and skills.

The information was broken down into simple terms, making it easier for beginners to understand. I like the fact that you get the opportunity to do hands-on exercises. I had an overall great experience. I feel like I have a strong foundation of IT basics and excited to receive more certificates from Google/Coursera.

Great course, especially for those either just entering the IT field or thinking about entering the IT field. Course provides a great level of basic knowledge, while also providing the ability to review additional supplemental information to go deeper, if you so chose.

I look forward to the next course in the series.

When I started this course I had no idea how wonderful it was to be. I really appreciate the way that the instructors explain the classes. Now, I think it is the beginning of a new career for me. This course was not easy, but because all the concepts I learned that I encouraged me to study more. Thank you very much.

It is my first experience of learning through Coursera and I consider it a good experience by all standards, a professional website complete, the way the material is presented, explained, and the arrangement is very excellent, making it easy for you to continue the course without getting bored.

I really had fun during this learning journey, where I enriched my previous knowledge about IT support and acquired new skills about Customer service and time-management in addition to problem-solving efficiency thanks so much to google and all the instructors for this valuable course and rich and organized content.

This has been an amazing first course. Alot was a refresher from college course, however most was new because I was able to do actually hands on experience with the labs. I wish we had more lab time to practice, however I will install a Virtual Machine so i can practice on. Really looking forward to the next course.

Very well explanied. The details given in how everything works and how it all comes together gives me a better picture of a career in IT. For someone with no prior experience and limited knowledge I know feel confident that I want to pursue a career in this field and grow in it. Very well made introductory course.

Very fun, simple, and interactive course! Compared to the military Web-Based Training Courses, this course is actually interesting, engaging, and well-structured! This is a great brief cool course. I believe it is a very beneficial for someone who have no experience or knowledge and also a great refresh for the experienced techie. Thank you so much for the high definition videos and transcripts. Really helpful and motivated to learn. This course deserves more than 5 stars!!!

Really Really love this course.. Learn lots of basic things, which make me more confidant about technical support. This course is not all about technical things but also I have learned the behavior to be a great IT Support Specialist. Maybe this course will help me in future progress. Excellent way to start the program. There's enough history presented to help increase background knowledge before going into the details of IT. The extension recommendations were easy links that elaborated more details on specific topics for further research. I really enjoyed learning more about binary codes also.

This is a very good course, I love that as the very first course in IT Support Professional Certificate and as a fundamental course it started from the very basics of IT. So regardless of where you are coming from as in your field/major you can beging and grow with this course. Its amazing and interesting as well.

This course is very helpful for anyone who is interested in the filed of IT. Wether you are a beginner, or someone who has been working in the filed of IT with no prior education in IT. It provides very basic starting points from creating a file, or computer hardware, to networking. All-in-all a great experience.

I already had some knowledge of computers so there were some things in ths course that I already knew, but it definitely helped me to fill in gapes in my knowledge and even with things I knew, I can see how those might be helpful to someone who did not knew them.

Overall, very well constructed introductory course

Really good beginner course for people who are not familiar with computers or people who have a basic understanding but need to know more of the nitty-gritty details. I've grown up with computers but this course opened my mind up more regarding the technical terms behind things that I've been using all of my life.

The course was very beginner-friendly, chock-full of helpful definitions, advice, and concepts that I feel will only help expand my knowledge of the vast world of IT.

The transcripts were a bit funky, as they didn't translate exactly 1-to-1 with what was said, but they were very helpful to my note-taking otherwise.

I highly recommend this course. The information is relevant and impactful. But although it is a large volume of knowledge, it is broken into bite-sized chunks that even someone who has no background in IT can swallow. Trust me. This course is great for anyone who has the insatiable urge to peek behind the curtain.

I learned alot but also this course was a great refresher course to what I already know. with my busy life. I almost gave up because I was passed my weekly goal. But thankful for the messages encouraging me to continue that I still had time. To keep working at it and I had till Dec. 28 really took a load of of me.
